And they keep on giving..... Awesome.
I look at it like this. I have always loved the Tomb Raider franchise. It was my first foray into the real 3D environments, and what a game like that can offer. Then Uncharted came out, and I was even more excited. They took what I loved about Tomb Raider, and added the excitement of the new third person cover based shooters (ie. Gears of War). I actually referred to Uncharted as Tomb Raider with better action. It has nothing to with sexuality. The protagonists are exactly 180 degrees apart i...
Yeah... But multi-player is full of boobs.
Yeah! I can't comment eith...... Oh wait, it is fixed?
Those aren't warts.... It's a french tickler!
# 4 is the sexiest. But props to all who put themselves out there.
It was as topical as yours. Why even open your mouth when you have nothing to offer. If you knew as much as you think you do, you would have at least said "have fun with your glitch fest PS3 owners. :)" But even that, even though more accurate, is still a stupid comment, and a waste of space.
Thief was my first foray into the stealth genre. I fell in love with that mechanic, and still love it today. Granted games like Splinter Cell: Conviction, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution are not quite the same.
If you play them through as only a stealth game, they are challenging. I not only would stealth and entire level and not get any detections, but, I also took out EVERY NPC on the map. Some times it would take 2 hours to clear a large section, or building. It is kind of a...
As far as I can tell the biggest difference is that it can do all that in real time rendering. That not only makes it more user friendly for the designers, but more adaptable to many uses. I was mildly impressed. I just don't want another generation of games that all look the same. If too many developers use it then we will be saturated. I like some diversity. Look at what 4A games does with their 4A engine. It blows away what the unreal 3 does, and it looks different. The same goes for a...
Let me say first off. I love Naughty Dog, and their games. I am not the one saying it is smoke and mirrors. I do believe they have the tech, and the game running for the demo. But I can see how people would think otherwise. If you watch this video of the after show interview. There is a guy running the demo. I wasn't sure if he was just standing there looking at it or not. But at around 4:25 into the video, you will see he is playing. The thing I see here is it is EXACTLY the same as the ...
But there was a guy in a white polo shirt monkeying around with a controller during it. And he was facing the screen, looking like he was playing.
It may not be scripted. But When I was tearing through the hours of live E3 coverage on G4 I noticed something peculiar. On Monday when they "live" demoed it on Sonys stage It was fine. But the next day they were in a live interview with Kevin Perrera and Morgan Webb. The guys from Naughty Dog were answering questions, and they had a guy just off camera (occasionally visible) "playing the live demo again"... It was EXACTLY the same as the day before. So I don't know if...
Did you guys actually read the article? That author is NOT calling it torture porn. He is saying that there are a lot of people with the opinion that it is, and how he disagrees. He even had his wife watch the trailer (unprompted), and her reaction is that she wished she was that "badass". Come on people. It was like a 5 paragraph review.
It is still a year out. Let's give it some time before we pass total judgement. For some reason the Tomb Raider series is like heroin to me. For better or worse, I love them. Buggy camera and all.
This looks like a good transition. Lets hope they tone down the "Japanese" styled "whimpering woman" routine, and give us more gritty.
So far the only Star Wars game I liked was Jedi Outcast about 10 years ago. THAT is the kind of game they ned to make.
And still a game like Mirrors Edge has not spawned a sequel. I will NEVER understand marketing, and corporate thinking.
I see a potential for a good demolition / enduro race game.
Nice! It's like what Little Big Planet did. Now it can live on forever.
Are the chambers going to be able to be played on the consoles too? Or is it just a PC exclusive?
God I hope not! I never play multiplayer. The only games I like online are co-op (Left 4 dead, Portal 2, Splinter Cell Conviction). Besides that I have no use for brainless, capture the flag, and death matches.
Disagree all you want. My statement is true. WHAT?!? Are they not giving us more content? And for the record I also play GT5, and they give and give too. I love having the option to play which one I want when I want. They both bring something to the table. And not being able to play both is doing yourself a disservice. But yeah... Go ahead and frigging disagree. Whatever.
